Acharya Foundation is a non-profit focused on cultural, educational, social and environmental initiatives. In the first two categories, our organisation stands out as the #1 Indian music educational platform in the world both in terms of the quality and quantity of content.
Our collaborators include hundreds of legendary, celebrity and talented artists and organisations such as IIT Mandi, Govt of India's Swayam Plus, Planet Symphony for Environment, Indian Fine Arts Academy, San Diego, Sciarts Services, Madison, International Foundation for Carnatic Music, Veda Temple Seattle, Brahma Gana Sabha, Madhuradhwani, Gayatri Fine Arts Global and SVN Music Academy.

Activities

Acharyanet stands as the foremost destination for esteemed learning resources, boasting an extensive library of over 800 lessons spanning from foundational to advanced levels, all meticulously crafted and taught by legendary musicians.
For over a decade starting in 2010, Classical Music Masterclasses have been conducted, both live and online, alongside distinguished musicians, aiming to educate students worldwide on thematic topics, fostering a deep appreciation for classical music. Collaborations have been made with esteemed organizations such as IFCM, Melharmony Foundation, Madhuradhwani, and many others, enriching the learning experiences of countless individuals.
The Acharyanet Classical Ensemble has been featured at leading music festivals worldwide, including the Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana Festival, IFAA San Diego Festival, and Gayatri Fine Arts Global, Chennai. These concerts have showcased the talents of exceptional artists in both music and dance, uniting diverse audiences in appreciation of our rich cultural heritage.
Since 2020, the annual Carnatic Summer Camp, hosted by Acharyanet, has provided a transformative learning experience for students globally. Legendary artists such as Dr. Trichy Sankaran, Dr. Sriram Parasuram, Chitravina N Ravikiran, and others have mentored attendees, culminating in a grand performance highlighting their progress and newfound skills.
Acharyanet has also championed young talents through various online contests, including the 1-Minute Alapana contest and the Carnatic Spelling Bee. These initiatives have encouraged participants to refine their skills and enhance their presentation abilities, nurturing the next generation of musical virtuosos.
Furthermore, comprehensive exams and certifications across a range of acclaimed curriculums are offered by Acharyanet, catering to students at every level of proficiency. This rigorous assessment process has empowered teachers and students worldwide, motivating them to strive for excellence in their musical pursuits.
In addition to educational endeavors, online festivals showcasing emerging talents from India and abroad have been curated by Acharyanet through the Acharyanet Sabha platform. These festivals celebrate diversity and innovation in classical music, fostering a vibrant global community of passionate enthusiasts and practitioners.
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, a successful fundraising event was orchestrated in 2020, featuring prominent artists Chitravina N Ravikiran and Sikkil Gurucharan. Together, 2 Lakhs were raised to support the underprivileged, demonstrating the power of music to inspire positive change.
